How to scan with an ADF (Auto Document Feeder)

Required Steps: 

To scan with ADF, launch Xsane. Select the source as ADF. Click the 'Number of pages to scan' to set the pages to scan from ADF. Make sure that exact number of pages is present in the feeder. To save the scanned images in a single file, select 'Multipage' (Ctrl+M).

When scanning with the ADF, you must use "batch mode". In 'scanimage', use a command line such as:

$ scanimage -b --batch-count=n --source ADF

where 'n' is number of pages to scan.
