How can I get HPLIP?

Answer:

Many Linux distributions regularly integrate HPLIP into their latest software releases, so you may already have HPLIP available on your Linux PC. HP does not distribute HPLIP with printers, so if your Linux distro has not included it in the Linux release that you have – or if you need an updated version to say, support a newer printer - you can also download it for free at http://hplipopensource.com
