Known Issues in 3.9.12

HPLIP Version:
3.9.12
Linux OS Distribution(s):
All
Notes:
  1. Margins for "HV Borderless" media size are not printing correctly for printers belonging to Deskjet F4400, Deskjet F4500, Photosmart C4600, Photosmart C4700 and Deskjet D5500 series. Select "Best" print quality for printing with correct margins.
  2. When printing Duplex with long-edge binding, the back page is mirrored on some distributions. Refer launchpad bug #484928 for details.
  3. Top and bottom margins are incorrect for Envelope paper sizes on Ubuntu 9.04, Debian 5.0.3 and OpenSuse 11.1
  4. Margins are getting clipped on Card Envelope for printers belonging to Deskjet F4400, Deskjet F4500, Photosmart C4600, Photosmart C4700 and Deskjet D5500 series.
  5. All paper sizes on the Officejet 8000 (benz) are printing with the margin along the right side of device, whereas they should be centered.
  6. When printing in Ubuntu 9.04 and 9.10 you will need to run "system-config-printer", from a terminal, and under the "Job Options" tab you will need to mark the box "Scale to Fit". This will scale the page so that it will show up in it's original form during the print.
  7. When installing on Fedora 10 and 12, user must be a member of the lp group. The user must logout and re-login after the installation is completed.
